SIH offers Maneo tech trainees internship
The Chief Executive Officer, Start Innovation Hub, Mr Hanson Johnson has offered tech trainees from Maneo Foundation three months internship programme.
Speaking in Uyo when Maneo Foundation paid a courtesy visit to SIH office headquarters in Ewet Housing, Mr Johnson said four trainees, two each for web design and digital marketing would be accepted into the company to serve their internship.
While appreciating the decision of Maneo to partner with SIH, the CEO said within the three months, the interns would be moulded to become experts in their chosen tech skill.
“Start Innovation Hub would take two persons each from web design and digital marketing on three months internship. We would mould them to what we want them to become” he said.
In his response, the Maneo Foundation team led by the Founder, Mr Emmanuel Ofuo appreciated the opportunity for its trainees to serve in the company, adding that the beneficiaries would want to be a part of SIH.
Ofuo explained that the partnership would boost the humanitarian efforts of Maneo in empowering less privileged children, especially the trainees in their chosen tech path.
He said the tech trainees would be given laptops at the end of the one month training and invited Mr Johnson to be part of the closing ceremony for its trainees in December.
