The management of Start Innovation Hub has rewarded some members of staff for their hard work in 2024.
The rewards were given to the deserving staff during the end-of-year get-together of the company at Ibom hotels and golf resort.
Mr Saviour Henry emerged the overall staff of the year and best instructor under the training category.
Mrs Esther Ikechi emerged as the best management staff, Jackson Jonah received the award for best staff under the product category, while Miss Nyakno Akpan clinched the best admin staff.
Henry, alongside other awardees were rewarded with plaques. monetary gifts, and treated to a sumptuous buffet at the hotel.
Reacting to his award, Henry who said he was honoured to be named staff of the year, expressed gratitude for the votes that resulted in his emergence as the overall best staff.
“I am deeply honoured to have been named the Staff of the Year at this year’s Start Innovation Hub End-of-Year Staff Party. This recognition means the world to me, and I am filled with gratitude for the unwavering support, encouragement, and belief in my contributions throughout the year.
“This recognition motivates me to continue working with passion and purpose, contributing to our shared mission of driving innovation and excellence,” he pledged.
Henry applauded the Chief Executive Officer, Start Innovation Hub, Mr Hanson Johnson, and his wife, Mrs Youth Johnson for what he described as their “visionary leadership”, which inspires staff members to strive for excellence.
“Your passion and dedication have created an environment where innovation thrives and where every individual is empowered to grow” he said.
He commended the management team for their guidance, trust, and recognition, saying the award was a testament to their commitment in promoting a culture of excellence and collaboration.
He further appreciated his Data Analyst colleagues, Ndifreke Asuquo and Ijeoma Eshiet for the teamwork and passion for getting results, as well as and other staff members for encouragement and friendship.
“Ndifreke and Ijeoma, you’ve been pillars of support, and your contributions continue to inspire me to push boundaries.
“To the entire staff of Start Innovation Hub, thank you for your votes, encouragement, and camaraderie. This award is not just my achievement but a reflection of the incredible team spirit we share. I am proud to be part of such a dynamic and forward-thinking organization” he stated.
Highpoints of the get together was the surprise birthday bash for Fred Dickson, an instructor led by the CEO, Mr Hanson Johnson, management team of SIH, alongside some service staff of Ibom Icon.
