Convener, StartHub Women, Mrs Youth Johnson hosted women and girls in the celebration of International Women’s Day with the theme, ”Accelerate Action: Empowering Women in the Workforce”.
In her welcome speech, Johnson said, “We gather today because we share passion. This event is a culmination and desire to spark the interest of women in the tech world. Our goal is to create space for networking, collaboration and meaningful conversations”.
Key note speakers at the event included Dr. Itoro Emembolu, Director, TechQuest STEM Academy; Mrs Victoria Ndu, Community Manager, 3MTT, Akwa Ibom State; EnoAbasi Emah. CEO, Sheedx Africa; Ayomide Femi, Researcher; Christine Chinagozi, Founder, ChristineDaniel Coaching Services; Queen Asikpo, Founder, Sabi Swim Academy; and Lady Mae Edmonds, CEO, Mae Edmonds Couture, and Convener, Uyo Fashion Week.
