#StartInFeb – Technology Pre-incubation in the Niger Delta

#StartInFeb is a training and pre-incubation programme for entrepreneurs in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria to bring their ideas to reality. It will start on 1st February, 2017 in Uyo, Aba, Port Harcourt, Asaba and Calabar etc.

Start Innovation Hub is partnering with other organizations within and outside the Niger Delta, Venture Capital Firms and government to make your dreams come true in 2017.

Programme Categories 

OFF CAMPUS – 12 months: N30,000.00

This category is for virtual members. We are designing it to favour those that will not be able to come to the venue of the programme. They will have access to our virtual community and also have access to the hub whenever they want to visit with approval. They don’t have ID Card but can attend any of our public and private events.

CAMPUS – 12 months: N150,000.00

This is where we prepare you for pre-incubation. This category is for those without required skills to develop their Most Viable Products (MVPs). They will undergo 6 months training on relevant mobile, web or hardware courses. Take part in ideation, design sprint, Business Model Canvas and hackathon before they proceed to build their MVPs in the next 6 months and get to market fast. Successful graduates from campus will proceed to pre-incubation stage.

Training, Events, Hackathons, Mentorship and access to hub facilities for non-commercial purposes throughout the training period.

GARAGE – 6 months: N150,000.00

Garage is a fun place to be as you will be in the midst of crazy, annoying and talented people. The garage is for those with ongoing projects who needs a working space, technology support, co-founders, business centre services at subsidized rate, mentorship, access to funds, testers, community of experts and users. You must present your Business Model Canvas before you are admitted.

Benefits

Workspace, paid jobs, marketing, references, access to meeting room and event spaces, use Start Innovation Hub as contact address, business centre services at a friendly rate, dedicated mentor, access to funds, access to community of experts and users.

PAID INTERNSHIP

This is for students in higher institutions of learning studying any of these courses or something related:

Computer Science, Engineering, Law, Mathematics, Statistics, Marketing, Business, Accounting or Agricultural Science.

They will be doing their internship programme with the startups in the garage while also learning.

REGISTRATION

You must have successfully filled and submitted an online registration form before you are scheduled for a phone interview.

Only successful candidates from the phone interview will be given bank account details to make necessary payments to enter #StartInFeb. Click to register

GOOD NEWS/MULTIPLE FEE OPTIONS

There is 90% scholarship available to CAMPUS and GARAGE applicants who will register before 20th November, 2016. They will pay N15,000.00 only to register.

Alternatively, you can register with N6,000.00 and refer 5 friends to register with any payment plan.

Any one that registers after 20th November is to pay the full N150,000.00 for the programme.
