Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental and Safety Guiding Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and ensuring a safe and environmentally responsible work environment, guiding employees on best practices, and supporting the implementation of environmental and safety policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement environmental and safety training programs.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and environmental impacts.
• Provide guidance and support to employees on environmental and safety procedures.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses, recommending corrective actions.
• Monitor and report environmental and safety performance metrics.
• Collaborate with departments to integrate environmental and safety considerations into operations.
• Stay up-to-date with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Develop and maintain environmental and safety documentation and records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field.
• Proven experience in environmental and safety management or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of environmental and safety regulations and standards.
• Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Desirable Qualifications

• Certification in environmental or safety management (e.g., ISO 14001, OSHA).
• Experience with environmental impact assessments and risk management.
• Familiarity with sustainability principles and practices.
• Knowledge of industrial processes and operations.
