We partner with school owners to run a Coding & Robotics Education for their school children. Parents are seriously considering schools who offer coding programmes to enrol their wards over others. The reason is not far-fetched, it improves the children’s logical thinking capabilities and prepares them for the future of jobs. This programme is a 1-hour weekly session that introduces children to practicable ICT – Coding, Robotics, Online Safety and other technological trends. We find that about 60 percent of all occupations have at least 30 percent of activities that are technically automatable. We want to work with you to prepare children for the future, which is heavily reliant on technology. Technological change has reshaped the workplace continually over the past two centuries. The speed with which automation technologies are developing today and the scale at which they could disrupt the future of work are largely without precedent. That is why we seek your consideration to secure the future for the African Child.
